Uptown Madness, a home football game, and joint parade with Talawanda High School highlight Miami University’s 2025 Homecoming festivities.
The parade, held on Sept. 25, sees a first for the Oxford community as Miami and Talawanda combine their Homecoming parades. Beginning at 6 p.m. in Uptown Oxford, the parade kicks off the university’s Homecoming celebration that will continue Sept. 26-28.
An Uptown Park Bash from 6-8 p.m. and Miami women’s soccer vs. Eastern Michigan are also on Sept. 25.
The following day sees a host of events, including Uptown Madness, Miami’s take on midnight madness. A portable basketball court at Oxford’s Uptown Parks will host the university’s basketball teams on Sept. 26.
On Sept. 27, Miami’s football team takes on Lindenwood University at Yager Stadium with a 3:30 p.m. kickoff.
Other activities that day include the Homecoming NSSLHA 5K Run, which starts and ends at Lewis Place; M.O.V.E. Bootcamp, also at Lewis Place; and the Miami men’s basketball Red and White scrimmage at Millett Hall.
On Sept. 28, the Miami field hockey team faces the University of Massachusetts at 1 p.m. in a home contest.
The Homecoming schedule is available, as well as information on the Love and Honor Cup and the Brick by Brick: Generational Miamians Family Tree Challenge.
