Program Offerings

Undergraduate Courses

In addition to introductory courses that will provide the opportunity to begin college, bachelor's degree completion in nursing, technology, and other fields will be offered. Classes will be scheduled during daytimes, evenings, and weekends and will combine traditional class formats with the blended in-class/online format of Miami's Saturday Select program. Weekday classes will be scheduled in 10- and 15-week formats to allow greater schedule flexibility for students.

Professional MBA

Miami's nationally ranked Farmer School of Business will offer a professional MBA program in evenings and on weekends designed to meet the needs of working professionals. Now in development, the program will leverage the school's strengths in quality of instruction, global perspective, personal touch, and linkage to the business community. Representatives from the school are meeting with area businesses and student focus groups to ensure that the professional MBA program is fully aligned with the needs of area businesses and employees.

Master's in Education

Miami's School of Education and Allied Professions will offer graduate coursework leading to an M.Ed in reading education, educational psychology, school leadership (leading to principal license), and curriculum and teacher leadership. A fully equipped media studio will support additional opportunities for teachers in the field of instructional design and technology. During the academic year the plan is to schedule courses in the late afternoons to make them as accessible as possible for teachers in the surrounding area. Teachers in area school districts can take advantage of Miami's TEAM Scholarship program which provides a 50 percent tuition and fee waiver for Ohio educators engaged in graduate degree study.

Corporate & Community Institute

Providing customized training for business, industry and government agencies, the CCI of Miami's regional campuses will be centralized at the Center. Specialists assist in assessing needs and implementing programs to help employers achieve performance excellence and ultimately strengthen their companies.

Alumni Career Services

Helping Miami alumni job seekers and employers everywhere, the Miami University Alumni Association Alumni Career Services will have an ongoing presence at the center. Included will be opportunities for meeting one-on-one with a career adviser, access to Miami's Alumni Career Services network of volunteers, and future networking opportunities and events at the center.
