Mission & Organization

The Department of University Communications, as part of the Office of the President, serves as the voice of Miami University to internal and external constituencies. Its mission is to speak with a single, clear, and consistent voice -- with the written and spoken word as well as graphically -- to interpret the university's mission, portray Miami's strengths and accomplishments, and relay its aspirations, challenges, and needs.

University Communications is led by Richard D. Little, Senior Director, and is organized into three parts:
