Career Exploration and Testing Center
Our mission is to provide primary, secondary, and tertiary level interventions so as to achieve and/or maintain a mentally healthy status for each student and to create a learning environment that facilitates and supports that status.
As such, we have specific goals which guide our work:
- Provide high quality assessment and remedial psychological and career development services to students in need.
- Provide primary prevention programming and consultation to students, faculty and staff that aims to facilitate healthy development and psychological functioning of students and systems
- Ensure that the services we provide are vital, current and ethical
Confidentiality - All sessions are confidential and no information is released to anyone without your permission. The obvious exceptions to confidentiality include cases that involve imminent harm and danger to you or to others. To make an appointment, call during office hours. In emergency situations, students generally can be seen almost immediately. We do not offer course or program planning. For that you must see your academic advisor.
