You're Fired
This unique art studio offers the perfect place for people of all ages to create and paint your own pottery. You're Fired is located in Uptown Oxford, where you pick your pottery, choose your colors, paint your piece, then they glaze and fire your pottery, and it is yours in just seven days. They also offer shipping as an option.Frisbee Golf
Frisbee golf, also known as disc golf, is played with players throwing a disc at a target. It is played using rules similar to golf. The updated Miami University Disc Golf Course features 18 holes of varying difficulties and distances that challenge beginners and advanced players alike.
Throughout the course, you will find yourself in both open and wooded areas, challenging your skills and having a blast.
Nation Road Horse Rental, LLC
Nation Road Horse Rental provides guided trail rides, pony rides, carriage rides, and more. They also offer five different trails from beginners, to intermediate, to the accomplished rider. You must call ahead to reserve your trail time.
Miami University Natural Areas
The Miami University community and the public are welcomed to enjoy the recreational and educational benefits of the Natural Areas. Visitors can hike, jog, birdwatch, explore, learn, discover, meditate or "just be" with over 1,000 acres of 17 miles of trails.
Oxford Farmers Market
Shop or observe the farmers market every Saturday year-round from 9 a.m. to noon. Oxford's Farmers Market provides fresh, local farm products while providing a bridge for education between the vendors and the community. The market also has special events throughout the year such as Gardening 101, Annual Salsa Contest, Harvest Party, etc. You will not be disappointed.
Uptown Music in the Park
During the summer months, the Oxford and Miami communities come together on Thursday nights to enjoy free concerts in the uptown park. Local and regional talented musicians showcase a diverse lineup.
