Miami goes smoke-free Aug. 1

On Aug. 1, 2008, Miami University will go fully smoke-free when its smoking restriction policy expands to include grounds and related outside campus areas on all three Butler county campuses and its Luxembourg campus.

Traffic-stopping vessel transport

A very large spray dryer vessel was delivered to the Miami steam plant Thursday. The 60,000-pound piece of equipment moved smoothly and on schedule through Oxford via Route 27 from College Corner Pike and down Western Drive, arriving at the steam plant before noon, July 17.
